“High-Tech leads the Future”- The 1st Hunan-Israel Economic and Trade Conference for Technological Innovation was held in Changsha and Yiyang on June 6 and 7. There were 564 Chinese and Israeli companies, including 93 Israeli companies and 471 Chinese companies. The number of participants was 839, including 98 from Israel and 741 from China. The docking session will be combined with thematic meetings, special docking, special roadshows and on-the-spot visits to focus on the industrial development of medical health, electronic information and clean technology in Hunan Province, and promote the integration of Israeli advanced technology with the advantageous industries of Hunan Province.
The Conference was host by the Department of Commerce of Hunan Province, and organized by China Israel Exchange/China Israel Jizhi Technolog. Xu Xiangping, Director of Department of Commerce of Hunan Province, Gao Fei, Business Minister of the Israel Embassy in China, Daniel Roth, Chairman of China-Israel Exchange, Hu Zhongxiong, Mayor of Changsha, and Zhang Yheng, Mayor of Yiyang City attended the meeting and delivered speeches at the meeting.

On June 7,The 1st Hunan-Israel Economic and Trade Conference for Technological Innovation - Yiyang Session was held in Yiyang. Danie Roth, chairman of China Israel Exchange, and Zhang Yhengheng, mayor of Yiyang City, jointly unveiled the China-Israel (Yiyang) Science and Technology Industrial Park, and the Yiyang and Israel technology and industry cooperation platform was officially established.
Yiyang showed strong urban confidence and an unprecedented open attitude. Zhang Yangheng, the mayor of Yiyang City, said that this Session will open a new window for Yiyang to open up to the outside world, set up a new bridge for economic and technological innovation and promote the cooperation between the two sides to a new level. During World War II, He Fengshan, the Chinese Consul General in Vienna, issued visas to Shanghai to thousands of Jews to protect them from Nazi killings. For the Jews, this visa was important.
